Chad Pennington’s 1st and 10 Foundation Awards $184,000 In Grants For 2012
Chad Pennington’s 1st and 10 Foundation is pleased to announce that it has awarded $184,000 to charitable organizations in Southern West Virginia and East Tennessee, and has now distributed more than $1 million in grant funds in West Virginia.
“We are so proud to have reached this amazing milestone in West Virginia” said Chad Pennington, President. “With the help of our supporters, and these great organizations, we are truly making a difference in the lives of many people.”
Since its inception in 2003, the Foundation has distributed $1,511,944 in funds to organizations in the Foundation’s geographical areas, including $1,116,600 for Southern West Virginia.
Chad and Robin Pennington created the 1st and 10 Foundation in 2003 with the mission to build stronger communities by funding programs and institutions that seek to improve quality of life throughout southern West Virginia and the Tri-State area and East Tennessee.

- Knoxville Kiwanis Youth Foundation
- The First Tee of Greater Knoxville
- Kingsport Tomorrow
