The 7th Annual Bobby Hampton Memorial Race took place on June 19th at Scott High School in Madison, WV. It began in 2004 to honor the memory of Robin Pennington’s father and has raised over 30,000 for various organizations since its inception.
The 1st and 10 Foundation provides 100 tickets to a deserving South Florida organization for each of the Miami Dolphins home games. A different organization is selected for each game. In addition the tickets, each person receives a hot dog, drink and popcorn to enhance their gameday experience.
The Celebrity Bowl event is the primary fundraiser for the 1st and 10 Foundation. This event has raised over $850,000 in funds that have gone back to southern WV and the Huntington Tri-State area. Companies and individuals sponsor bowling lanes and compete in a tournament with a celebrity.
